HORASTEX: MODEL BANK SAMPAH TEKSTIL DIGITAL SEBAGAI SOLUSI INOVATIF PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH PAKAIAN DI KOTA MEDAN

Fenomena fast fashion telah meningkatkan timbulan limbah tekstil di kawasan perkotaan, termasuk Kota Medan. Rendahnya pemilahan limbah, minimnya kesadaran masyarakat, serta sistem pengelolaan yang masih berorientasi pada pembuangan ke Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA) memperburuk dampak lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menganalisis model Bank Sampah Tekstil Digital (BSTD) berbasis aplikasi HORASTEX (Household Oriented Recycling Application for Sustainable Textile Management) sebagai solusi pengelolaan limbah tekstil berkelanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengintegrasikan survei perilaku masyarakat (n=205), Material Flow Analysis (MFA), dan Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) berdasarkan ISO 14040 dan ISO 14044. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem konvensional (business as usual/BAU) mengalirkan sekitar 72% limbah tekstil ke TPA (49,88 ton/hari), sedangkan HORASTEX menurunkannya menjadi 37% (25,63 ton/hari). Berdasarkan faktor emisi 1,2 ton CO₂e per ton limbah, HORASTEX berpotensi mengurangi emisi sebesar 10.621,5 ton CO₂e per tahun atau sekitar 48,6% dibandingkan sistem konvensional. Selain itu, tingkat kemanfaatan dan kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi melebihi 80%. Model HORASTEX berpotensi meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, mengurangi beban TPA, serta mendukung pencapaian SDGs target 12.5 melalui reuse dan recycle.
